Description:
18 cm. Unmistakable.
Habits:
One of the VIBs (Very Important Birds) of Fraser’s Hill. Upper montane, occurs only at the hill station, and then, mainly in the higher areas such as the High Pines and Telekom Loop. Of low density and hard to find. Might turn up in fruiting tree or in a bird wave; clambers around like a slow nuthatch.
