Habits:
One of Fraser’s Hill’s star birds,
this is a restricted range species and montane
specialist. Numerous and vocal, with a cicada-like
buzzing call. Find a small fruiting tree along
one of the roads and this spectacular bird is
bound to turn up. It flies in clumsily on small
whirling wings and clambers around the branches,
gorging itself. |
