Red-bearded Bee-eater
Beberek Tunggal - Nyctyornis amictus

Description:
32cm. Unmistakable. Photo shows male, female has red forehead.
Habits:
This large forest bee-eater is not really a montane bird. Fraser’s Hill however, is a good place to observe it as it often turns up around the Gap area and even on top of the hill. It has a harsh chattering call that will usually give it away, it perches fairly high in the trees, a pair often moving together.
