Mountain Bulbul
Bebarau Bukit – Hypsipetes mcclellandii

Description:
24 cm. Note the large size, olive green plumage and streaky head, from the front to heavy streaks on obvious under parts.
Habits:
This is the only strictly montane bulbul at Fraser’s Hill. It does not come below 1,000 m, so it does not occur at The Gap. Common around the forest and forest edges of the hill station, sometimes also in the bungalow gardens, feeding quietly in small fruiting trees.
